"We are all people with common dreams and ambitions. This is true for everyone and I challenge you to accept and live that very principle. We are not a truly 'complete' society until we are unreservedly able to treat one another as equals."

At TOZ, we believe that every person with a disability who wants to work can be employed. Customized Employment looks for a match between the job seeker's interests, skills, and abilities with the needs of the employer and helps to foster natural supports in the work place. It individualizes the working relationship between employees and employers in a way that meets the needs of both through tools such as the Discovery Process and Job Carving.
These tools help fit the job to the client, find jobs that match the client's skills and interests to the employers, and set the client up for long term success. Customized employment helps to promote partnership in a progressive and integrated community. In addition to 'real work for real pay', individuals are part of a work culture that assists them to achieve recognition, satisfaction and pride in the workplace.
Our residential and day programs are designed to fit the needs of the individual clients and to provide opportunities for personal growth, skill development and enhance our clients' quality of life. Clients are given the opportunity to participate in activities that stimulate health, learning, socialization and skill building.
TOZ intends to "empower" our clients, to directly support their social inclusion, and to directly challenge their devaluation through learning opportunities that reflect PCP style. Personal growth and self-confidence is encouraged through opportunities for recreational activities.
